Try to prepare. Say try to research for things you can possibly share to many people. Maybe you look for information on what courses are currently the most preferred or will be in the few years. You will be good. Then say you try to organize, outline and put everything in writing. You can go over everything several times by doing so.

After, try to practice. Try to say everything on and on. Do so in front of a mirror while imagining you are already in front of a crowd. You will have an idea how it is to speak in front of many people.

One of the biggest misconceptions about copywriting is that anyone who is good at writing is naturally good at copywriting. The truth is that while you do need to be good at writing in order to be good at copywriting, the reverse is not true. You do not need to be good at copywriting to be good at writing. Huh?!

Let’s break it down: The misconception is largely based on the fact that copywriting is a bit of a foreign concept to most people. But if you’re in the business world, you probably come across copywriting every day of your working life. That’s because copywriting is any business writing that is used to sell, promote or market a company’s services or products. So, copywriting projects are simply any marketing communications—such as direct mail, ads, a website, newsletters, articles or press releases—that a company produces.

The field of marketing is one of the most diverse fields that offer various career options to an individual. Marketing is, today, considered as the most important element that fuels the progress of a company. Sales being the driver of a company’s revenue, marketing is the factor that induces the sales by offering higher visibility and larger reach to the audience. A business may be a small enterprise with limited financial budgets or a large scale company with strong financial backup; it would always need a discreet combination of the two elements, sales and marketing.

Marketing is essential for generating sales, the income powerhouse for all kinds of organization. To leave an impact on the market and to contribute to sales, marketing is a fundamental function. It is so crucial that if done in the right manner, it can lift up the sales and eventually, the revenue of the company but if not, it may hinder even the strength of the enterprise. ABSTRACT

Restoring our knowledge about writing approaches and strategies, we must find that there are at least three approaches of writing: product, process, and genre oriented; go on to the strategy, of course, without any doubt, we find in our memory that strategies are highly pointed out by what approach is being adopted. Those things are “things” in our perspective on writing, whether in teaching or practicing writing itself.

We saw writing as both process and product. We have idea that genre, or text type, is one of the conventional approaches in writing. As well, we also saw that these three approaches are different one another; consequently, we teach students writing in different way, in accordance with the approach we implement in the classroom. Do we think that we teach students writing as a partial activity of creating text? This reflects that our practice of teaching writing is not totally integrated with the philosophy of writing itself, that is, write to communicate.

I suppose that writing is best taught as an integral activity of communication, which begins from genre, process, to product. An integral activity means that the activity of writing is done based on the integration of the three approaches. I believe that there must be reasons and ways to integrate these three approaches in teaching and practicing writing. And for that sake, in this short article, I would like to share the way and the reason of integrating those three approaches at once. Writers like Hyland (2005) or Clark (2003) might had proposed explanations of how this could be; however, for more practical perspective, I think it is imperative to share with you what I believe should be conventionally called as integrated approach.

Before you start to plan your teleseminar, do some research. Find out what your target market wants – make sure you differentiate that from what you think they should want. Decide on a multi-media product you can create to answer the market request. Keep in mind that the lead time for a teleseminar, from concept to execution should be between 60 and 90 days, so they are a way for fairly quick money.

Now you need to develop the content for the teleseminar. Give out good information on what to do, but do not share how to do it. That’s the job of the multimedia product you are going to create.

Administrative Tasks

Register a domain for the teleseminar – it should reflect the topic of your seminar. Get a host for your website.

Subscribe to a toll-free teleconferencing system. Set a date for your teleseminar.

Set up an autoresponder that will collect the name and email address of your opt-in visitors and then send them to a web page that has the call-in information for your teleseminar. Prepare the follow up email that will also give them the call-in information for your teleseminar. Later on you will prepare a series of four emails to be sent immediately before your teleseminar.

Create Multi-media Product

Now is a good time to create your multi-media product. Note how I keep emphasizing multi-media. That’s because you will do much better if your product is more than just a digital download. Remember, you are dealing with the ‘how to do it’ not the ‘what to do’. Sometimes, it is easier to write the content for the teleseminar and then use that as a basis for creating the product you are going to promote on the teleseminar. Get someone to interview you and raise all of the hard questions and objections that your listeners might have.

Book Marketing Profits
April 22nd, 2011 by admin in Book Marketing No Comments

Book marketing is an essential part of the publishing process.  You spend weeks, months or even years writing your book.  Another gruesome process begins as you dive into the literary agent pool. Finally your moment of triumph arrives when you receive a contract from a publisher.  Was it worth it?  All the months or years of perseverance you stayed up late, skipped spending time with family or friends and turned into an introvert have finally paid off.  You rush off to your favorite department store to pick out an outfit for you Oprah interview.

Anxiously you check the mail everyday for your first royalty check.  As the days and weeks come and go, so does your enthusiasm.  Are you missing something?  Was there a step in the book publishing process that you forgot?  The answer is yes.  The book sales profits you’re waiting for are waiting for you.  What am I talking about?  Book marketing.  Without some sort of book marketing plan in place your book sales will be very low. Don’t sit back and wait for your publisher to do all the work.

My uncle once explained how saddening it is when someone leaves their success up to others.  Are you expecting your publisher to put more effort into your success than you are?  If you want to see more book sales, you will need to create your own book marketing plan.  A book marketing plan should include methods for:

Increasing your book sales Building an online and offline presence Creating local and national exposure Implementing common and very uncommon measures Marketing through your community, companies and celebrities
